Breakfast with delicious local products and Greek coffee will be the first thing we do this morning and then check out of our hotel. After that, pure cycling heading towards to one of the most important Archeological sites in Greece: The ruins of the ancient city of Mycenae, the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon. The city is indissolubly linked to the Homeric epics, the “Iliad” and the “Odyssey”, which have influenced European art and literature for more than three millennia. We will walk around the ancient citadel and we will have the change to admire the Lion Gate at Mycenae, the only known monumental sculpture of Bronze Age in Greece. After the visit we will return to Nafplio using our bikes to end the bike tour. On our way back to Athens we will have the change to visit the Corinth Canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. For those who dare they can try a bungee jumping from the bridge that connects the canal. Return at Athens late afternoon.
