Pick up from your hotel in Athens or a meeting point and we drive to reach Nafplio. After the safety briefing we hop on our bikes and we start pedaling around the city. Our first stop will be the Naflio Annex of the Greek National Gallery. It houses historical paintings from the National Gallery collections, related to the Greek War of Independence (1821-1829), thus pointing to the city of Nafplio as the first capital of Greece (1821 – 1834). Then we continue towards the famous Constitutional Square where we pay a visit to the Archeological Museum located in an imposing building of the 18th century. A free time for personal moments will be available. Then we start our grand cycling tour. About eight (8) km further we stop to visit the Archaeological Site of Tiryns. A monument protected by UNESCO. Soon after that we have non-stop cycling through villages and many orange and lemon trees. We end up our ride at a local winery where we will have a wine tour around its facilities; we will taste magnificent Greek wines, delicious Greek finger food and feel the Greek hospitality. We will continue our tour towards a local fish tavern to enjoy a meal by the sea. Return to Athens at late afternoon.
